Welcome friend!

I’m so glad you’re here! Your visit is very important to me.

I’m Renée Gotcher, a writer, editor, and editorial consultant with nearly three decades of experience in the print and online publishing world. I’m also a wife of 29 years, a homeschooling mother of three (two now in college), and an outdoor-loving Colorado transplant.

On my blog The Pace of Grace, I’m sharing my journey to relieve anxiety, restore peace, and revive hope by stepping outside for sacred walks with my Savior. I am blessed to be a featured author in the book Life Changing Stories: A Devotional Collection Revealing God’s Faithfulness and Transforming Power, where I share how God transformed my expectations of His goodness through a battle with severe physical anxiety in my devotional story, “When God Says His Grace is Enough.”

Whether you are seeking a word of encouragement from a fellow sister in Christ who understands the challenges of struggling with anxiety, or you’re looking for an experienced editorial partner to help you turn your stories into compelling content with eternal impact, I want you to know you’re in the right place. Your story matters—and God wants you to know He sees you, knows you, and loves you!

I look forward to connecting with you here or in your favorite social media space. I can’t wait to hear your story!

Renée provided multiple levels of consulting and editing for my book and Bible study project, Five Tips from Jesus for Desperate Parents. From big-picture content advice to copy-editing details, she went beyond my expectations to give me the feedback I needed. Renée has a gift for reading with understanding and providing clear guidance with examples. In our initial consultation, she listened to the voice and tone I wanted to portray in my writing, and she tailored her editing to help me achieve that vision. My books are undeniably better for going through her capable hands.
